Annihilator Training
In the past when people were using much of the conventional type systems that place a resin pool directly onto the break a lot more training was needed to attempt to displace the air pressure within the break. Problems occur when operating a tool this way because resin on the glass too soon will trap any and all moisture within the break. People who still use conventional systems may be able to make good repairs but they won't be able to make as many consistenly good repairs as you will be able to with Annihilator. The idea in windshield repair is to replace ALL the air with an optically matched resin. It is much easier to dump the air first and then add the resin. You will get more complete fills, stronger repairs and much higher quality repairs by using our Annihilator. The Annihilator is one of the only repairs tools available which can dry out a break and inject it with the resin in the injector! The old way caused many problems and required far more training because the process in itself was incorrect to start with. Windshield repair is very simple using this new equipment whereas before it was condsidered an art. Nearly anyone can learn how to use this tool and produce repair quality that before only people with years experience could do with obsolete equipment. When the air pressure is removed first you can also get out moisture by heating the break while Annihilator is under the strong vacuum. Gentle heating along with high vacuum quickly dries out the damage. The injector is lowered into place and break is injected all without ever breaking the vacuum. Once you get familiar with the new equipment on many types of different breaks you will go to the field to do actual hands on repairs guided by our top technician. By the end of the day you will become proficient enough to start your operation and provide your customers with repair quality that is the envy of the windshield repair industry! Annihilator is superior over other dry vacuum tools because of higher vacuum, threaded control of the injector, connection within the resin pool which strong suction instead of a vacuum over the resin pool. Suction within the resin pool is far more effective than vacuum over the resin pool. Annihilator costs less to own, has very little maintenance required, o-ring seals last far longer than other repair systems and the systematic process we use is in the correct sequence to produce extremely high quality time after time. We do not presently endorse NWRA for two reasons. One reason is NWRA still supports resin on glass systems or displacement methods, and the new president of NWRA is only using his position to try to aid the marketing of his company's tool in our opinion. It is also our opinion this man cannot be trusted.
We presently do not agree with Rolags commitee as they still condone displacement methods and their dry out procedure isn't clear. Much of the information isn't based on science and it should be. We have data to prove vacuum first with heat will dry out a break more effectively than simply heating a break. Some of the information in Rolags is good but needs refining.
We do not agree that training with displacement methods is a satisfactory way to train anyone as the process has far too many factors which make it obsolete and subjects the operator into the wrong method of doing repairs in our opinion. We believe training for glass repair should be only done professionally with a high quality dry vacuum method. We don't believe displacement methods have any place in the future of professional windshield repair. It is too difficult to do something right when the process you are using is backwards.
